OOTP Could Not Connect To The Server
I'm trying to setup a mock online league to test prior to converting our 6.5 online league.
I've setup things the exact same way I have them in the old league, only in new folders for the mock league. Same ftp address. Same ftp passwords. And I've created the new paths for the folders. I've double-checked my password and FTP access to those folders. They are writeable folders as well. I have read the manual on this subject but cannot seem to get this to work. What am I doing wrong? Any help is much appreciated. edit: Title updated to reflect latest issue. If mods see fit and it helps other folks in the long run, feel free to change master title.

Okay, this was, in part, a virus protection issue.
However, now OOTP cannot open the folders that I've created. Do I need to change the permissions on these folders to something other than 755?

Adding here so as not to clutter too badly, but now we've got this
Error 203 - Wrong Path FTP up isn't working. Any thoughts on why this might be?

I should add that all my connections to server are addressed. That was me not designating the proper path.
However we're still getting both 203 and 103 errors upon export.

Problem seems to have been solved by the GM completely uninstalling and then re-installing the entire game on his machine.
Still unsure what the code means or why it appeared. I guess you can close this, but it'd be nice to find out what the problem was for future customer reference, or at least acknowledge that the problem has been noted. Thanks.

I'm having the same problem as you (OOTP could not connect to server), and my GMs have trouble exporting too. Could you describe hoe you got rid of the problem? All of my informations are correct, I can connect from outside the game, and I even tried a port that I know is open and after a minute of trying (compared to a second or two from default port 21), it still tells me it can't connect.
Edit: Oh wow, I didn't see it was August of last year. Still, if anyone knows how to solve this, I could use some help...
