International League

I want to create a world league with teams from countries rather than Towns or cities

My question is : Are there ways to actually create one league of 24 teams with players from a specific country?

I tried to do it by creating leagues of the 30 countries with 2 teams in each league then placing the teams i want in to a major league but i couldn't delete the leagues once it was done.

any help on the would be great

League would look like this,

USA
Canada
Mexico
Japan

Venezula
Dominican Republic
Cuba
Nicaraga

Germany
Netherlands
Italy
England

Namibia
Sth Africa
Zimbabwe
Kenya

Nth Korea
Sth Korea
Australia
China

Malaysia
Taiwan
New Zealand
India

Nope, not without massive amounts of individual player edits.

Scblcommish,

I worked on an international league for several days. It could work, but at this juncture I say it's not worth the trouble. Here is what I tried:

A major level league that played in the winter in florida. 40 countries had a team represented. Each country's players were fed by a minor league that played in the summer back in their home country.

So, say you have a team in England waiting for International play to begin while the summer league has a season. At the end of that season, call up the 25 best players. I recommend setting the affiliates to NONE (or maybe just 1 team) in your minor leagues until you are ready to play. If you have 8 teams in one minor league all feeding into your one club, that organization will ping pong players all over that minor league, causing players to play on four or five teams at the same AAA level for no reason.

This is more convoluted of an explanation than I hoped. If I can be any more help, send me a private message.

Thanks,

Arlie

That does sound like a great idea though. A WBC-type league... I would so start my own league like that if possible and have a "true" World Series.
