Extension/Injury Question

I offered my 2B a 4 year deal, which I was pretty creative with. After offering the contract I hit continue. Before continuing however I was told that I had to remove a player from the DFA list and that my 2B that I just offered an extension to was injured. So I had to put him on the 15 day DL.

So my question is.....will he think about the contract AFTER he returns from the DL? I have simmed 3 days with no word. Usually I get something back by now. Hopefully I dont lose the offer since it says he is still thinking about it. Has anybody else had this situation play out?

I don't know about the DL, but I had a player take 2 weeks before I got a response. I offered, then forgot about him and went about simming my games.... 2 weeks later I get a message that he wants more money...

Well I wanted a timely response so screw him!

Alright. Then I guess I patiently wait. It was a low offer and I am hoping that he takes it. Especially with this injury.
