Extract Lahman to which folder?
Hey,Brand new to this game.
I just downloaded the Lahman file and I need to know the correct folder to extract it to....before I screw things up too bad. Thanks in advance. |

Most people extract it to c:\stats, but you can extract it anywhere you want, as long as you can remember where it is.

Database
Salty,
Does not matter where you extract the database. make sure that when you extract the database all files are in the one directory. Then you will need to start your OOTPB career. There is an import database fetaure in OOTPB. The file you need to select is the Master.csv file. It takes a while so you might want to make a cup of coffee while it lads up. It works really well, the only thing is that when I done it for myself I found some playes of the white sox in the minors. Scott Podsednik and Aron Rowan were in the minors. So if any major players are missing just have a lookin in your minors teams. Hope this helps. And for more fun, download all the mlb team logos an put them in your images folder under your save game directory. enjoy. White Sox Fan from Australia. |
