Crash after clicking in upper right corner

I spent a few hours creating a fictional league. Everything was pretty much done, and I was about to press the Start Game button, when, and don't ask me why, curiosity and the cat, but I clicked on the "Joe Unknown" in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Guess I thought I'd enter myself into the game or something. Anyway, I ended up on the Joe Unknown Home screen ... and I couldn't get out. There was no way to get back to the league creation screen. No back arrows worked, nothing else presented itself, I could edit Joe Unknown's preferences but that was it.

Further attempts to click on something led me to the Nations Screen (clicked on his nationality, I think). I opened a report and hit the back button, which took me to the League News screen. When I tried to go back another button, I got an error message, HTML_PARSER::parse - cannot open source file team_14.html.

Looking at the League News, it appears I was thrown back to the most recent league I had loaded before beginning to create my new league. I finally gave up and closed the program, then reloaded on the off chance my new league had been saved. I tried loading "default" game, but got "The loading of the database failed. It is either corrupt or a save-game from an old version."
