Help I'm caught in the hype!!

Well even though I have had previous versions of OOTP I can't call myself a big baseball fan. Soccer and Football are my games normally...but I'm caught in this damn marketing hype of Marc's!!
When I saw that SI was involved with Marcus and OOTP I knew I would be tempted (IMO SI do the best sports sim ever produced and I have wasted a lot of my free time/life playing it in all its versions....you know what it is)
I came a long just to have a look a couple of weeks ago and then the next day and then the next and then damn it every day
then I found I had pre ordered the thing....now this has caused some real problems
1. it is likely to be released while I am at work.. which will really make time stand still
2. My wife is working from home tomorrow and she dosen't know I have pre ordered the thing so I need to stop her checking the email somehow....
3. I will have to find a way to double my free time so I can still manage the greys (league one now ) and ...well whoever I decide to take in this new game.

anyway well done Marc for a very addictive TRTR and well done Marcus on what I am sure will be the best ever OOTP game.

I'm looking forward to getting it, not so much the domestic hassel that will follow but what the hell did I get a PC for if not to enjoy games like this...

If your wife can't understand priorities then you really need to have her visit a psychatrist.

Well, I can't say it's a "woman thing" because there are a few verified women on this board who play and enjoy the game. I've even seen one get ticked off when she lost a top prospect to a career ending injury.

I think it's a jealousy thing. I mean, when's the last time you got that passionate about her scoring on a double down the line as you were about that little computer guy?

Cool! You're doing a space alien league? You should talk to Gastric Reflux about maybe integrating it into his hobbit league. In the new OOTP, anything is possible!
