League Totals question...

Does anyone have any league totals sets that produce realistic MLB stats? I've been working on some, but they seem a little off. If anyone has some good totals could you post them? Thanks in advance.

Depending on how realistic you mean by realistic, it's extrememly hard to get stats that model real life MLB across the board. It's like a Whack-a-Mole game...get HRs and doubles into the right ballpark and your Ks and BBs are off...get K's and BB's right and your overall run production becomes a problem...get something that's semi-close offensively across the league and you find the league leaders are all over the board. Etc, etc. It can take me a full weekend of trial runs to get something I like.

To make matters "worse" the stats output from your league depends on the quality of players in your league as well as the totals. So, just copying someone else's totals won't help you unless by happenstance the ratings of the guys that populate you world are very similar to the universe you copy from.

This is the frustration, and the beauty, of OOTP.

Couldn't I just look up the number of at-bats last year, put that in along with the number of hits, HR's, etc.
