If this game is released 06/06/06, it's the Apocalypse for sure.

The morale of the story is RMPL and avoid sausage breakfast burritos.

Wait a minute, Marc! You said in another post you dont have time to make a video of the game being played but you have time to troll old posts that doubt SI? Priorities, man!

I don't understand the timing of this post.

look, I like the look of the screenshots of this next version and I trust in Markus.

But to declare victory and vindication before even releasing a product is a bit premature.

When SI came along, I couldn't help but think Markus sold out, at least a little bit, and that the game would be effected by that. I think that's only natural, considering the overall level of satisfaction with, if nothing else, the depth of OOTP.

If I'm not mistaken, the SI/OOTP announcement came on the heels of all the player's association deals (NFL, MLB) that have essentially killed the product for many of us, at least from an arcade standpoint.

That made it very easy to be skeptical.

I think the "merger" is on track to be a successful one, but as Giants44 says, the chickens haven't hatched yet.

Still, I have no problem saying Marc probably deserves some back-patting.

Whilst I personally don't have time to put together a video, I know someone who does...

hehe, no I'm certainly not even trying to do that.

It just made me laugh reading that thread and some of the stories from people about SI and OOTPD. In many ways, some of the stuff there was reflected in posts on our board when SEGA recently bought us.

Again, it's not about back patting as the proof is in the quality of the game .. end of story.

This is about how a takeover and announcment can send a forum crazy.

The video will be released when its tested and ready.

BTW, Nice use of the word "whilst". I thought the only ones who used that were Jane Austen and Monty Python

I love reading all of the old "doom and gloom" posts from yesteryear.

I was surprised to not see any from MD, though he has come around big time!

He's just showing off his "Britness" (and no, I'm not talking about the White trashy girl from Louisiana)

I use "whilst" all the time. But then I'm British... And a law student...
