I have to revoke my Ninership

As an avid fan of the 49ers, I now have a dilemma. You see I am also an avid Dilfer hater. In my eyes the worst atrocity ever in the NFL was Trent Dilfer winning a Super Bowl as a starting QB. Now I must watch him don the garnet and gold. I may actually turn on my favorite team if he gets into a game. It is truly a day of infamy for the 49ers.

But judging by the "Jay Fiedler Rating", that period when Dilfer went something like 20-2 as a starter equals the greatest string of quarterbacking in the history of the NFL.

Don't worry, with Dilfer's magic, Alex Smith will win the SB by the time he's 35, although it probably won't be with the 49ers.

Isn't Dilfer the best QB on the Niner or is there still some faith in Alex Smith?

If there is, there shouldn't be. He's awful.

They brought in Dilfer to improve their secondary's ability to pick off passes.

And rather than worrying about Smith, lets worry about our WR's. Do we have any? Davis might be the #1 option for Smith this year. We cant really get on Smith that badly when he really doesn't have anyone to throw the ball to thats worth a damn.

A Ravens fan once told me that Trent Dilfer was a better quarterback than Dan Marino because he has a ring.

It's true. Dilfer is a "winner" and he "wins games". Marino is nothing because he has no ring. You just can't argue against this.

You think we're happy about getting Dorsey?

I wanted my last memory of him to be on his butt courtesy of Cie Grant
