Major League IV is looking for 2 experienced general managers to step in and reshape 2 teams.


1) Houston Astros -
55-56 3rd in Division 5.0 GB / 4.5 GB in the wildcard. SP Kerry Wood is the ace on this pitching staff that could use a little work. However the bullpen is very solid. The strenght of the offense is the allstar OF of Lance Berkman, Brad Wilkerson and Magglio Ordonez. This team needs a little work as the only stud prospect is 1B Henry Flanagan who will be a monster down the road.

2) San Francisco Giants - 43-68 20.5 GB - Its been a long road for the Giants ever since the hay day of Barry! With GM's coming and going this team is in need of a serious GM with the patience to build a winner and return the Giants back to the glory days. This team has a couple of young players in place to help down the road but there is no doubt they are a team in need of serious help and would be one of the biggest challenges for any GM to undertake.


Major League IV was established Feb 16th 1999. We have a very dedicated front office and still feature 6 original owners. We currently are running on 6.51A with plans to move to the OOTP2006 version down the road.
