6.5 freezing while trying to sim

when i try to sim in my solo league, it freezes and does not sim any days. Am i doing somethin wrong?

also freezes when trying to play a game, when clicking submit lineups

More than likely one of the following is the problem:

-The same position is listed twice in the lineup.
-The same player is listed twice in the lineup.
-One position is missing.
-An "injured" pitcher is scheduled to start a game.

Hi Steve;

How does this duplicate position / duplicate player in the line up problem correct itself. I play solo. I am four days into my first season using 6.5, and have had 7 games over three game days were the sim gave an error message and closed OOTP. I determined the problem game, opened the game, reviewed the line ups, which seemed fine in 5 cases, and then simmed to the end of the game. In the other two cases, the line ups were empty except for that days starting pitcher.

Im having the same problem...

everytime i try to sim it will simply stop. it was going fine and i didnt change anything but once i tried to sim from may 20th on, it froze.

i just bought 6.5 recently.

Im running on XP. Ive been using 6.12 for a long time without any issue regarding speed or freezes. Should I delete my old version to clear up more space? Maybe disable the option of saving all of the boxscores? i dont know.

yea i thought i had checked that before but i forgot to check my DH lineups.... and the reason it stopped then is becuase interleague play had just started. thanks.
