The game is going to start in 5-10 minutes. If Canada wins this game and the US win tomorrow against South Africa then the US will advance to the 2nd round.

Jeff Francis hits Vinny Castilla in the Top of the 1st with 2 out.

Double for Durazo scores Castilla to make it Mexico 1-0 in the 1st.

Another double makes it 2-0 now.

3rd double now makes it Mexico 3-0

Because Mexico has scored 3 runs, that means if the US beats South Africa the US will advance to the second round. The only way Canada advances is if they win tonight.

Good call, Mexico scored making it 3-0.

EDIT: 4th consecutive double to make it 4-0 Mexico with 2 out in the 1st.

Clapp slides head first into 1st base while Gil slides feet first. Clapp got hit in the head but hes alright.

End of the the 1st, still 4-0 Mexico.

EDIT: Cantu with a HUGE 2-run HR to make it 6-0 now in the 2nd inning.

EDIT: Luis Garcia hits a double, man on 2nd with 0 outs in the top of the 4th.

EDIT: Pitching change, in comes Paul Quantrill with a man on 3rd with 1 out.

EDIT: Base hit by Cantu scores the man on 3rd. 8-0 Mexico with 2 outs, and a man on 1st in the Top of the 4th.

EDIT: Durazo with a single into rightfield, men on 1st and 2nd.

Pop fly caught by the 2nd baseman to end the inning.

man, Canada is getting spanked. I am lucky, this game is on channel 9 in NYC on Time Warner Cable. For some reason this channel has been playing the ESPN deportes broadcasts but with english speaking announcers.
