Congrats to J. J. Redick

My favorite player is now the all-time Duke leading scorer, passing Johnny Dawkins. He passed the mark in typical J. J. fashion as he hit a 3-pointer. Pretty neat at the end of the game as well with Dawkins presenting the game ball to Redick. Next up is the ACC record...

Since JD was the reason I became a Duke fan, it is tough to see him lose the record, but losing it to a class act like JJ is fine. 20 years holding the record is probably long enough.

Time will only tell, the one thing about Redick is that he will be fine scoring in the NBA, every shot he takes now is pretty much contested, or he has worked to get an open shot. Will be nice to see him bring some of the basics back to the NBA like the jump shot and the art of making a Free Throw.

As a Mavericks fan, I'm used to watching good free throw shooting.

Nah, this ain't LA. Mavs fans don't leave in the third quarter to beat traffic.

This is a thread about college basketball, so you shouldn't be saying anything until, like me, you cheer for the Atlanta Hawks.

Yes because Dallas has been playing terrible defense all year!

I hate the Blue Devils....period !! But I have seen JJ alot on tv this year and I'm impressed at the way he plays. A few years ago, I thought Mike Dunleavy would be a sharp shooter in the NBA but it hasn't really worked out yet. Maybe Redick will do what Dunleavy couldn't do, win and score consistently.
