Will Manually Reworking World Series Schedule Foul Up My League?

I haven't done this before and don't want to screw up my league.

I would like to change the World Series schedule from 2,2,2,1 to 2, 3, 2.

Will I foul up my league if I manually rework the schedule in the schedule editor?

I want the first two games at Team 1...next 3 at Team 2...and go back to Team 1 for the last two games...with an off day in between each set of games.

Is it editable? Cause all of my playoff and WS formats are 2 - 3 - 2. Does it depend on league structure perhaps?

it wont screw up the league, BUT it could be tracked by CATO wrong. sometimes, when i change the schedule of the postseason, CATO doesnt track all the games correctly. cant seem to figure out why its only sometimes though.

if you dont use CATO, dont worry. its easy as well. im positive you can handle it, EC.

As long as you schedule the same number of games as set in the league setup menu then any schedule setup will work.

I am not smart enough computer-wise to use Cato.

But I can edit the schedule.

Thanks for the help, guys.

Eugene,

Are you sure the format is not already 2 3 2? I checked about five leagues and found them to be all the same.

One piece of advise - BEFORE you mess with your schedule, make a copy of the league folder. If anything goes wrong, you'll have lost nothing.

I use custom schedules but they don't go into post season. I think the game does it once the reg season is finished. Just a thought.

Yeah, this is great advice.

I do back it up weekly.

I will back it up before the World Series, just in case.

I change the playoff schedules in my solo league regularly. It hasn't caused a problem yet.

Never caused a problem for me.

I used to go with an edited 2-2-1-1-1 championship series format, but switched back to 2-3-2. Never had a problem.
