Will we have seperate logo folders for each league?

Or just one per world? Minor question, but I'm just curious, because I plan on having team names jump from league to league and each league has it's own unique style of logo (i.e. Seattle Warriors in the Majors will be different then the Seattle Warriors in the minors). Anyone know the answer to this?

They are organized partially the same as before but identifying a team to their logo is much easier than before. I don't know if you can have the same team name exist within the same universe though. Much less a different logo.

Yes, you could. But you couldn't have two teams in different leagues calling themselves the Tokyo Giants - I haven't tried it, but I assume they'd just share the same logo.

Thanks for answering. I know that they are tagged by "CityNickname" instead of "logo1" which I think is great. By "partially the same as before" do you mean all in one folder?

That I understand, mine would exist at different times so that wouldn't be an issue. If there were seperate folders for each league than this wouldn't be an issue.

Again, thanks for answering.

Please try it ... it would seem to me that, if the game's shell is mirrored after FM, et al, that each entity would have a unique ID number. So, CityTeam A (i) would have an ID of 1234 and CityTeam A (ii) would have an ID of 4321, so both could have unique logos in the same directory.

Same folder. Which is why you can't have 2 Tokyo Giants at the same time, or as stated above, they will share the same logo. It probably wouldn't be too hard for Markus to code it differently though, so having multiple logo folders could happen in future versions.

So, would having two teams of the same nickname, but in different cities be a problem?

Probably not since logos will be named "CityNickname." If the city is different then they are different logos altogether.

Maybe you could pull the old "add a space after the end of one of their names" trick, if you really wanted to have separate logos for two identical team names. Just a workaround if it was really important for someone's universe.

Yeah, I have a tendency to do "CityName" and "CityName1" when I need that and when the team switches league or whatever I'll just change they're names.
