DoCBA looking for a few good GM's

Since the board ate my last reply (damn hungry board), I'll be brief.

The DoCBA is looking for GM's for their Halifax, Fort William, and London franchaises. We're now getting our third season and we'd rather have a good human GM to go against instead of the CPU, as beating a computer is just no fun.

We use OOTP 6.12, and SIM Monday-Friday in fifteen day stretches. If you're verbose in your posting or writing, we gladly encourage such things.

To apply please reply here or send me a PM with leagues that you've had experieince in.

Thanks in advance

CC, COmmish of the DoCBA Funny Farm

London is also a city in Ontario.

I'm not quite certain where Kingston is, but that's a Canadian city too.

See, there's this thing where people like to repeat city names in different countries and even within the same country.

LOL I should have specified.

Here we have the locations of both London and Kingston ontario. London is the red thing, Kingston in green. Other team locations that are not shown here would be Guelph, Ottawa, and Hamilton, making Ontario the center hub of teams in the DoCBA

Current Standings enclosed:

Just to give you some idea of how tought this conference is, here is your competition:

Guelph - Jazzmosis
Halifax - abailey3313
Hamilton - jeheinz
Ottawa - mauboy
Quebec City - vris
St.Johns - wireman

Five expierienced GM's that won't make winning, and wireman for being a rookie (at least so he's said), is kicking ass and taking names. Defiantely not an easy conference

Hell, I'll take London! They haven't even won a pennant so I can build them up.

you can after five seasons. I think i've detailed stuff on the site about that but you can change the name and logo right away, and move after five seasons if you so wish. Here's the exact quote from this thread: http://docba.blnetworks.biz/modules....53bc21c7e6a31c

Just to let you all know:

New team owners; you can change your team name if you wish. Please have a logo done though if you plan on doing this

Moving your team is a five year wait from purchase. Saves making the league look like a game of duck, duck, goose.

New stadiums I beleive are at least a twenty-five year wait, so that isnt going to be an issue. Of course this doesnt apply if your moving.

What the heck, creed. I'll take Kingston if you'll have me in your league. The site is just like TWB....nice and familiar.

You know my experience in OOTP, so I'll leave it at that.

I think this thread has done its work but, just for the record, cc, I think you're mixing me up with our new league champ. He's the rookie -- and quite a rookie at that.

I've been in about 12 leagues that I can remember. Not a terrific GM, but not a rookie.

Just an update

Our Kingston franchaise has been filled by metsgeek but our fellow Devonshire conference team London is still up for grabs. Do you think you have what it takes to beat some of the more well known GM's out there?

And in the Wales conference the Calgary Oilers and the Fort William Trappers are also available. With some of the most exciting players in the league as part of these teams rosters and full of hungry GM's, you won't be getting off easy, but it will be a great challange

Drop a line in this thread or PM me today! We're jsut about to start the draft with the season beginning next week.

I'd highly recommend hopping in this league, I've had a great time in the 2 seasons we've done so far, and you won't see commishes who put in more effort than good ol' creed.
