PFBL, 14-yr fictional league, needs one

The PFBL is looking for one new owner to replace an owner who just resigned.

The new owner will be taking over the Omaha Outlaws. They've got a good deal of talent and have been a top team in the league for the past 6-7 years.

The league is fictional and uses OOTP 6.5a. We've been around since August '02 and are currently in our 14th season. Our remaining 15 teams are manned by a good core of owners who are very active.

The league features:
- 5 sim days per week. We sim games Monday thru Fridays, 5 games per sim, so there's definitely a lot of baseball happening in this league
- Catobase
- On-line almanacs
- Export Trackers
- A very active site forum Link
- Trading of Draft picks
- Offseason Player Coaching to improve skills
- Player Rating/Talent Changes Reports per sim
- Minor League Stats from last sim reports each sim
- Player Fatigue Reports after each sim

I'm in the league, as well. Omaha's division is one of the top divisions in the league. The owner owners in the league are all active and competitive. You won't be disappointed.

I'm an original owner going on three years with this league. It's well run and very active. The available team is pretty good so any new owner could expect to compete right away. Give us a look!

I, too, have been in the league since its inception. It is a fun league with lots of talk on the message boards, etc. Also, Omaha has fine talent. Come aboard!!

Well, the PFBL is now entering its 15th season, and we are looking for one more owner.

The new owner will be taking over the New Jersey Generals, formerly the Omaha Outlaws mentioned in my old post above. The team is probably due for rebuilding at this point. They've got a few real good players, but what was once a powerhouse team a few years ago, has been neglected over the last couple seasons by inactive owners (the new owner of the club would be the 4th owner the team has had since the beginning of last season).

- Punctuality you can set your watch by - over the 3+ years the league has been in existence, I think we've missed maybe 2 sims (which were promptly made up)
- Catobase
- On-line almanacs
- Export Trackers

- Offseason Player Coaching to improve skills
- Player Rating/Talent Changes Reports per sim
- Minor League Stats from last sim reports each sim
- Player Fatigue Reports after each sim

Do you have a link to a league file?

I might be interested, but I'd like to poke around a bit with the actual file (I always feel much more comfortable browsing that way vs. HTML).

I may've missed where it was on the homepage, but I don't think I did.

In case you haven't heard from him yet, I let Carl know that you were interested in seeing the league file, so I'm sure he'll get back to you shortly (if he hasn't already).

I've been an owner since the 7th season, and have really enjoyed being in the league. It's a very active group of owners and we'd love to get another active owner in for this franchise.
