OOTP 2006 simillar to FM?
Will OOTP 2006 be simillar, in terms of interface, to FM and NHL eastside manager? Also will it come with real players for the MLB?

Take a look at all of the screen shots and I think you will agree that OOTP 2006 will have many similarities to FM. Also it is evident that many of the play features of FM are getting into the new OOTP.
I am not aware that OOTP has any licensing agreements with real leagues and player associations, but there is not doubt that there will be plenty of real player card sets and graphics available from third parties. I would suspect these mods will be available even before the game comes out.

The interface is probably the part of the software that will most resemble FM and EHM, judging by screenshots.

The games are using a different underlying platform technology, hence the differences. The system used by OOTP has tabs and stuff like bookmarks, whilst the FM doesnt (it has other stuff that the OOTP platform technology doesnt).
