Jag's Leftwich Regeneration Skillz

When I did News/Sports talk in WV and Leftwich was at Marshall, his fan base developed not only because of his play making ability, but also because the guy almost wills himself not to be hurt. I remember him playing half a season with a bum knee that he could barely walk on - and a broken thumb on his throwing hand. All he did that season was lead Marshall to a victory in its bowl after falling behind by thirty points or something.

Anyway, Byron is a good guy. He would come on our show whenever he could - he was a good interview and a class act. He always joked about his pain tolerance and how he has always been a seemingly freaky quick healer.

Anyway, ESPN say that he could make it back for the playoffs.

Ditto that! I've been a big Leftwich fan since his days at Marshall and would love to see his Jags knock off the Patriots tonight.

Since neither Dallas or the Raiders are very good, there are only two Golden Rules in Coop's football book.

*Hate to Pats
*Hate Brady

The Jags could virtually assure me a harmonious post-season experience if they can get rid of the only team I truly hate in the NFL.

Hate(b) Would be the Bears, but I think that business will take care of itself.

I sense some animosity. Is it just because of the media coverage or do you not like the way they play the game?

Because I honestly don't know why you can actually "hate" Tom Brady. What he ever do to you? And I know your a Seahawks fan, so it makes it even more mind boggling.

My guess would be the coverage. I like the way New England plays the game, and I like Tom Brady as a quarterback, but sometimes I wish they would lose just so everyone would shut up about them. Still, I hope they beat the Colts in the playoffs this year. I'd love for that to happen to Peyton again.

You are not going to redeem yourself for dating a FSU girl.

Colts aren't going to lose to the Patriots. They will lose to the Redskins.

I hate Tom Brady because he played for Michigan (I went to Michigan State) and now he plays for New England (I am a Jets fan). Nuff said.
