CRAP League
Completely Random Ahistorical Pandemonium League Stuff that won't change, no matter what: --Starts in 1901 --arod's random player database for the players -- 1-10 rating scale --Career Mode --Coaches Off/Simulate Minors -- OOTP6 Engine -- Hitter/Pitcher Dev: 50% -- Hitter/Pitcher Age: -40% --All creation modifiers: 0% --AI Evaluation: SkyDog's settings --Recalac for Historical Accuracy button will be pressed after each season --Injuries/Fatigue are on (off for 1901-1903) I let the flip of a coin decide the following for 1901. I will flip the coin for the same things for every subsequent year. --DH in both leagues --No playoffs --Finances on --Cap of $50mil --Cash Max of $25mil --Use Nat. TV minimum --Min Salary of $250,000 --Trading: On/Trading Frequency: Normal --Roster: 25 men --No 40-man rule/waivers/Rule 5/Arbitration/Minor League FA --Yes to minor league option years --Era: Baseball's Rebirth --Homefield advantage --No foreign free agents --All-Star game decides Homefield for WS After the end of every season, I will flip the coin regarding expansion/contraction and any team movements. This is something that will probably be a (not so) quick and (extremely) dirty stat dump. I will outline the major players in the draft. I'm not going to be controlling a team or anything like that. Just sit back and watch the zaniness! Last edited by Vris; 11-02-2005 at 11:40 AM. |

I just realized that each team is kinda hindered on the amount of players. So injuries will be off for a year or two until there is enough organizational depth.

Wow, Foulke went #4. That is pretty early for a closer.

And I goofed. I went to fast and before I knew it, it was ST. I can tell you Musial went to Atlanta though. If you want to know where any of the others went, I can tell you. I just have to look them up.
1902 coming up a little later. |

Sorry about that. Just kinda forgot. I will try and remember to get the award winner's numbers up there. If you want some other numbers, just let me know.
For comparison, here's Nevin: .320, 14 HR, 113 RBI, 95 R, .362 OBP, .449 SLG Nevin also played for St. Louis, who finished in last place. Hafner played for Cincy, who won the pennant. Simming 1902 as we speak... |

1902 World Championship
Buffalo vs Atlanta Atlanta is led by ROTY candidate 1B Stan "The Man" Musial (.378, 5 HR, 117 RBI) and LF Ted Williams (.413, 10 HR, 103 RBI). They had 3 .400 hitters and were third overall in the league in hitting. They also had the second best pitching staff in the majors, led by Joe Bowman (22-11, 4.06, 108 K) and Jake Wade (19-10, 3.90, 76 K). Buffalo was actually first in the league in hitting, despite having no .400 hitters. LF Carlos Lee (.389, 5 HR, 109 RBI) paced the offense, but was backed up by 1B Jose Morales (.385, 1 HR, 96 RBI) and C Carl Sawatski (.324, 4 HR, 89 RBI). Their pitching staff was weak (5.57 ERA), but was led by Gerry Staley (21-12, 5.44, 73 K). Buffalo's offense (1st in runs) isn't enough to overcompensate for it's horrible pitching staff. I say Atlanta in 4 games (3-1). Last edited by Vris; 11-04-2005 at 08:56 PM. |
