Problem installing BOSI v2

hopefully someone out there can help me im trying to install version 2 i think on my site and im getting the following error when i go to the admin page to start my initial setup .....

Warning: open(/sessions/sess_9dfdfed986dc733d73049c4774f62db8, O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2) in /var/www/sites/simleagueworld.com/lib/header.inc on line 3

below it it shows the bosi admin banner

if you guys can help me get this thing set up before i pull out all my hair that would rule thanks a ton!!

This error typically means that you did not set the path correctly when customizing those two .php files in the \lib section.

Look in Edit the Configuration File

its probably where it says basepath.. im not too familiar with what they want put in this field can you give me some help as to what to enter here, thanks for the help

ok ive fixed the basepath now i get the bosi admin banner and a login asking for user name and password yet now no matter what i enter in these fields the same screen just pops up again?? got any idea what im doing wrong now lol thanks for the help

Did you run the sql script to build all the BOSI tables on your MySQL server? Did you try admin / admin?

i did build all the tables in mysql, not sure what you mean by admin/admin though?

i appreciate the help and i hate looking like an idiot but now after i log in using admin/admin i go to update the password of the admin account and i get

Error updating record. Please report the following -- update set where USER_ID = 1

actually i figured that part out had to do with the htaccess file or something, thanks for all your help hopefully that will do it if not ill be back here!!

I am having this issue now as well, what is it that needs to be done to fix this?

Small bump here, my error is:

I have installed BOSI before on other servers, but I get this error when I do it on my current server. The software is Plesk with MySql 3.x.x and PHP is enable as well as "everything" else. Any help is greatly appreciated.
