Halofan roster set is updated! *BRAND NEW*

Ok guys, new roster set is up for any and all of you that use it. There have been some rating movements, added players, signed 2004 and 2005 picks that have officially signed. I have adjusted coaches and mangerial changes as well. The lineups and rotations are not set as i do not set those because i let each GM do that on their own and i will continue to not set them except for my opening day rosters that i put out. Sorry this has taken so long to complete as i have gone through 2 operations on my knee, finals for school, summer school, my own kids being sick, the wife being sick, we celebrated our anniversary and i think we even moved? wait....nope we didnt move, but we have been having internet problems as well.

For those of you that continue to support me, it is appreciated and you are the reason i continue and will continue to do this! My set will not be perfect and i have decided about 3 sets ago that it will never happen lol, so if you see something you disagree with and you CAN prove your side, then please let me know (duckfart76@simleaguecentral.com) by email, my site or here on this post.

Please dont send me messages and emails saying that you dont agree with my ratings as there is nothing i can do about that, the ratings are done by stats that i input in and the stats decide the ratings.

Hopefully you enjoy this set, there will be another one at the beginning of June, roughly, and another after the trade deadline.

ummm im not exactly sure.....i havent heard anything from anyone else so until i find out if this is a wide problem and not just isolated to you, i cant do to much

Nope - the file is showing up as 358 kb, and corrupt. The problem is with the file.

So who do we get in this set as far as 2005 draftees go? Do we get the guys from the first 2-3 rounds, or just the guys who have signed so far?

Notable guys who have signed so far, to my knowledge:

Pretty much everybody drafted by the Braves in the first few rounds
Cliff Pennington (college SS, probably a 3-3.5 star prospect)
Mark Pawelek (HS LHP, typical extremely high ceiling guy)
Ryan Zimmerman, who will sign his contract shortly (college 3B, should have very high talent ratings in contact and avoiding Ks, also Gold Glove-caliber defense)

players that have officially signed (meaning they have a press release stating this) as of this morning (around 10-11am)....if i dont have any onfo on them as far as signing a contract they wont be in it but will be added as i go on.....Pawelek is in the set tho i know that......when it concerns draft picks, remember that i have heard for years that "this player can do this and do that" so ratings will be VERY sticky at first.

Thanks for sticking with this, considering all your obstacles. I love your rosters. Now I can try to figure out why the Nationals are in first place and how many years it will take me to fix the Reds.

Well rasnell, as i have explained in the initial post, as long as people continue to enjoy my work i will continue to release them

......obstacles are just that and you have to learn to go with the flow or you might as well shoot yourself in the face now

All the support i get is MUCH more than i ever thought as i didnt think my set would be as popular as it is and as i have said before, im not happy with my set and havent been for quite sometime lol.......im a perfectionist and it just eats at me knowing i will never have a perfect set, ya know? But your support is greatly appreciated.

shouldn't this be held off until 6.5 is released so you have the proper prior years' stats?

just curious if you're going to update for 6.5

last years stats are correct, the screen that shows last season and current season cant be updated, therefore, i can only update his career stats

The roster set will be updated about 2 weeks after 6.5 is released as well and then once again after the deadline as i mentioned in the original post

In the near future, before you make it publicly known that you have a file available for download, test it yourself. This is Web 101, and something I tell my students every semester.

Halo,

I've been having some bugs with your roster set involving the schedule/calendar, previous year stats not displaying correctly, and career stats not being correct.

For example, I just downloaded your latest update and on the schedule page it says Tuesday March 30, while in the upper right it says Thursday March 30.

Is this is a problem with my OOTP install or with the roster set? The OOTP people said it was with the roster set.

I havent figured out the calender issue but when i made the 2005 calender, this is the junk problem i came up with.....the career stats on about 96% of the players ARE correct but the screen that shows current season and last season stats is not correct and will never be correct unless someone makes a utility to edit that. as of right now, there is no fix that i know of and i dont know if anyone will make a utility. My wife could do it but she does not have the game code to program anything

Hey, I'm just curious what you use to create new players. Do you go into the game, create a new free agent and then rebuild the new player?

yep, i do each player in this set by hand and i started this set with NO players in the set so each and every player is hand done with no utilities of any kind
