Guess I'm the only one who found this interesting, loses a fight, punches mob guy at bar, gets killed by mob guy a few days later.

That was an interesting story, the former Soviet Union is a wild place. Wasn't it Alex Mirochincko (spelling?) that died falling down several flights of stairs coicidentaly right after he testified in a corruption case? I think it was was ruled an accident, but who knows.

The mob and boxing. I've got some record books from the 20's with Johnny Torrio's mug inside refering to him as a promoter or manager.

My favorite Mob boxing story is that Al Capone was going to fix the second Dempsey-Tunney fight and had installed his own referee then the ref was found out and a new one was installed later the famous long count took place i always found that ironic im sure capones ref wouldnt have made the same mistake
