Three problems with 6.5
If you have an injured player while solo simming, you must fix the lineup settings or the game locks up without any warning. In the previous versions, OOTP would sub in the backup in the depth charts, but 6.5 just hangs up, makes no change, and doesn't tell you why the game has frozen.
Second, player tracker does not work if you make the choices while viewing the initial draft list. Perhaps this has always been the case, but it sure would be nice to view the best in your player tracker as you progress through the draft. Finally, in a game where the DH was in use, I could not drag and drop the pitcher to the top of the lineup menu where the pitcher's name appears. It forced me to put the pitcher into the DH spot as the only way to get the reliever into the game. Then the pitcher takes the DH spot in the lineup. |

Unsure about the first two but I have played a game using a DH and was able to sub the pitcher into the top spot.

When I dragged the pitcher to the usual spot, I got a message saying that I must place him in the lineup. The DH was in effect. So, I put him in that spot and he now was listed in the lineup as a hitter.
By the way, I was playing in the NL so this must have been an interleague game. Playing in a fictional league. Last edited by rasnell; 06-16-2005 at 08:49 PM. |

I had the first one happen to me. I had to use computer manager on both teams and it finally solved it. i would get to the lineup screen and an illegal operation would happen over and over.

Yes, I was using 7-day lineups.
Here's more info on the DH problem because it continues to happen. I'm playing purely NL games with no DH. The game starts and only my team has a DH designated, which should not happen. During the game, I cannot replace the pitcher unless I put them into the lineup in the DH position. |
