New to the game: Day 1 suggestions

Reminder that I am newbie making suggestions as I go. So there may be something I list that already is included but that I just haven't found.

DRAFT:

- Add the ability to sort players by pitcher and position player.
When looking for a position player, using the ALL sort and having the pitchers in there makes things frustrating.

-Add a 'hot key' that lets you switch between the different categories.

- Add a way to exit sub screens and have it return to the previous screen you were on. i.e. when in the draft, if I go to my team's roster, and I can't return directly to the draft screen. The ESC key will take me back to the main screen.

- Implement some type of verification or reminder option when drafting for non-human teams. I was stupid a couple of times and did not advance the draft to my team and so my pick ended up on the next team in the draft!! So, it would have been nice to have an option asking "Are you sure you want to pick for this computer controlled team?"

Individual player screens:
- Show all ratings (e.g. GAP, Av K) on the general info screen.
Especially useful during the draft when flipping quickly from player to player.

Bottom of screen explanations - Manual

There are a lot of options in the game that don't have sufficient explanations, or may not have any explanation at all. In other words, I will see an option in the game and wonder what that option is or what affect it will have.

The main thing, for many options , is to have it show on the bottom of the screen when the mouse is moved over an option. Some may need to be in the manual. You could have them in an FAQ on the forum too.

I know that this is often hard to see from the perspective of a veteran of the game because so many things seem so obvious, but from a newbie point of view it can be detraction.
In other words, it is time for someone to go through from a newbie perspective and update some things.

examples of items needing info on the screen with a mouse pass:
*What does 'Run Computer Manager on all teams' actually mean.. what are the results of doing this?
*When/why would I want to import a roster CSV file?
*What difference does the time of the First Year Player draft make?

Spring Training
Did I miss this in the manual? There's a screen where you can change ratings to let a player move to a new position. Is this correct? Is there anything explaining this anywhare?

Updated 'how to' / flow of the season / tutorial
I'm fairly good at trying to track down information on the game, but many of the FAQ / how to articles in the forum are getting outdated.
I would like to see an updated 'tutorial' on how a season will go (see spring training item above which I had not heard of). Steve had one on finances that broke that part of the game down by month, that was good.
