In the trade screen, when you select a player to trade and then a team to trade him to, it only shows the people on the 40-man roster that it will trade. However, more often than not, they will trade players not on their 40-man roster. Was it supposed to be that way? Otherwise I don't see much point in having the "players that would make the deal work" box if it's not going to show all the players that would make it work.
