NFL Network

sorry if this is a repeat thread... tried a search, nothing came up.

Anybody watching the NFL Network? I've had it on for at least a couple minutes everyday since it launched. I like Total Access and thoroughly enjoyed Wednesday night's game of the week. They choose the Seattle / Washington game. Looked like a great game to watch. Even better as presented as the NFL Game of the Week.

A bit off topic, I really like the Seahawks away jersey with the white pants. Great look.

I'll definitely be taping the Game of the Week each Wednesday (played at 8pm CST). Watching NFL Total Access right now.

Oh, it's channel 212 on Directv, not sure what cable stations are carrying it.

edit: I'd really like to see a MLB Channel and even a Wrestling Channel (if only to relive my youth... and yes, I know it's fake, doens't make it any less entertaining).

I like the channel. Good idea. I've watched it and enjoy the previews, and I especially liked the continuous stat updated they did during sundays games.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I was curious as to what there were going to do during the games and was impressed with the stat updates and voice overs. Hope they keep doing that.

DirectTV is carrying it. Does anyone know if Dish Network does (or is planning to)?

Kez- Sorry, Dish Network does not carry NFL NETWORK.

Below is a letter to Dish Network requesting that NFL NETWORK be added to their channel lineup. Please read the letter and click "Continue" to have it automatically sent to Dish Network.

Call 1-800-333-DISH and tell Dish Network that you want NFL Network or to get more information on their satellite services.

SUBJECT: I Want NFL NETWORK!

Dear General Manager:

I am writing to request that you add NFL NETWORK to your channel lineup.

NFL NETWORK is the first 24-hour, seven-day-a-week cable and satellite television network dedicated solely to the NFL. It keeps me up to date on all that happens around the league, on and off the field –- during the season and throughout the off-season. It gives fans like me information and insight straight from team headquarters, league offices and anywhere else the NFL is making news.

Please let me know that I will be seeing NFL NETWORK as part of your channel lineup.

Sincerely,

LINK: http://getnfl.cablesource.net/ You can check to see if your provider carries the NFL Network by following the link.

I didn't realize that only a few cable/satellite providers carried the channel. Another reason I am glad to be a Directv subscriber!

Boy am I glad I switched from Dish to Directv this fall, got NFL Sunday Ticket and NFL Network and if I'd stayed with Dish I'd have squat.

It's a cool station. In a way, I'm torn over whether or not I like this version of the NFL channel over the previous version which was on Direct TV about 2 years ago. That NFL channel showed all the old NFL films programs. I'm hoping once we hit the off-season, the new NFL channel will also do that.

I've seen some of the lost treasures, and 1/2 hour team specials already on the current version.
