Major schedule snafu -- Only 153 games

I am playing the 2027 season of the St. Louis Cardinals.
Probably my fault, because I wasn't paying attention, but following a 5-4 win over the Cincinnati Reds to improve to 70-82, I was informed my next game was the conclusion to the regular season.
This would leave us at a 153-game schedule.
What was strange, is there have been no e-mails -- outside of the front runners -- about teams clinching playoff spots and division titles.
I will resist moving forward to the day of our final scheduled game to see if someone can come up with a fix.

Did you regenerate your league's schedule at any point without balanced games checked and/or interleague turned on?

Not sure why 9 games would not be there otherwise.

You won't have a historical schedule automatically load because you're not playing a historical season - you're two years into the future. So the game will either load a schedule that fits your league's format or else will create a schedule. Evidently, the game couldn't find a schedule matching your league's format so it created a schedule, and if your league has interleaugue games then the game's scheduler will do a bad job of creating a schedule. That's how you end up with a 153-game schedule for a 162-game league.

League began with the 2025 season.
Both 2025 and 2026 had 162 games.
I don't recall changing any setting as we rolled into the 2027 season.
It's really not a big deal as I am well out of the playoff chase and just playing out the string.
Will have to check schedule settings if I deicide to do a 2028 season.
We'll just say this season was shortened by nine games for some reason.
