Getting Negro League Data (MiLB)

I found the MiLB files in the "Stats Folder". How and where do I go to install them in my game?

The MiLB files are used when you play a game with real minors turned on. It’s unclear from your post what you are seeking to do specifically.

I just want Negro League players to be in my OOTP database so that I can use them in creating teams.

They are already there so more detail would help.

If you are trying to import them, you use their Historical Minors ID and toggle on the box to import an individual player from the minor league database. Are you familiar with individual player importing? Is that what you are looking for?

Are you wanting them to be in the game as you play but in a colorblind world? In that case, turn on real minors and as history moves along, they will be there. If you want the players in the Negro Leagues (they are in the game as "real minors") to be signable before 1947 to MLB teams, you can turn of the color barrier vie league settings.

Or you can use a mod that has different versions of select NeL players in the MLB database (instead of the minor league one). That mod is here: https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=357028

Thanks so much for your help. I checked out your page when I downloaded your NeL database. It's awesome work, and you deserve so many thanks for your time and prodigious efforts.

Some years ago, I downloaded a Negro Leagues OOTP game from somewhere, maybe add-ons. It wasn't comprehensive, the creator of the game only used enough players to fill out the teams. I still have this game and have updated it for OOTP25.

I can send it to you if you like.

Thanks, Garlon and I worked hard to make Eric Chalek's work playable in OOTP with that mod. It's not all his MLEs but it's the top guys.
