How do you force a trade without taking over a team?
I am managing one team but want to get the Gauthier trade in. However, can I do it without taking over the Flyers or Ducks? I don't want to leave my team to do it since I am not sure if that messes up histories (and maybe other things) and I don't want to just edit the players since I can't edit the player's history to reflect the trade.
I don't see an "act as" option when I have commissioner mode on like there is in OOTP. Last edited by renojedi; 01-10-2024 at 10:34 AM. |

Go into Commissioner Mode and just edit the player/rights/picks.

Thanks.
I can do that but then I can't edit the history of the players. It would be nice to be able to force the trade so it populates in the history or, better yet, having a change that allows us to update histories like OOTP. I asked last year and the response was it would break other things to allow that editing. |

I must admit that is something I'd like to see also. A "Commissioner Mode only" trade
option between any two teams, so that the players history and team transaction logs are updated. Also the ability to sign free agents and renew player contracts for other teams in a similar way. |
