Unable to be GM when unemployed

Hello i start à New standard play mlb today live that means it start today with réal life standings. At thé end of thé season just GM of White sox is fired. Thé job is offer to le thé day of thé offseason but when game simulate i am unable to accept thé job offer it is still too late. How can I do? Thank you.

As a new player, my recommendation is to go to the Manager Home page and turn on "Commissioner Mode". This will allow you take over any team. Choose one that you would enjoy playing (maybe the White Sox, maybe another). There are so many elements to explore in the game and I think taking that easy short-cut to get yourself started in a GM job will help you immensely. Enjoy the game and if you have questions, never hesitate to come on the forum to seek assistance.

This is what I do too every versions of the game... I don't wait an offer and I took over the Expos via the Commissioner Mode (with the can't be fired "cheat" since I have zero interest in managing another team).
