Projected Revenue not matching Budget

Online league where budgets have been manually set to last year's regular season revenue rounded up.

Every team is being controlled by the Projected Revenue on the Front Office Finances page instead of the one on the Accounting page and the figures don't match!

I have set Budget and Projected Budget to match ($180M in the screenshot example below). Regardless of what change I make in either line (or anywhere in Finances that I can find) the Projected Revenue controls spending, instead of the Budget.

Every team is affected this way.

Do you manually set team budgets every year this way? Change your financial setting to owner controlled budgets and it'll work like you want it to.

This is a remnant of the problems the developers had with the economic changes. I noticed this earlier in the year when I tested some economic changes.

We have all revenue available.

I just moved my league to OOTP 24 after ending our season and it's causing some confusion.

I haven't tested it yet but I'm considering just setting Budget to Expected Revenue so the figures match but I haven't tested how this would impact things.

We can check this out, but I believe this was an intentional change in one of the latest patches to use the revenue rather than the budget, because that gives some more wiggle room in most cases.

Generally the revenue should be higher than the budget. So at least in theory, this should usually mean that teams would have more money to spend this way, not less. That was the theory behind this change at least, unless I'm way off.

It's possible that you might just need to tweak the revenue for your league to set this a little higher if things are off now.

I just set the Budget line on the team finances page to match the Expected Revenue figure. It will be interesting to see how much exprected revenue changes over the off-season.
