"For those who knew him closely, he was much more than a great football player. He had a giant heart, old soul and an infectious smile. The Ohio State community and our entire football program are heartbroken."

Though I didn't know him, I'm still saddened by the loss of such a young and promising life. Particularly for the comments in bold. It sounds as though he brought a lot on a human level, and that's one thing we can never get enough of.

Thoughts and prayers to his friends and family. May his memory live on in their hearts.

Sad and bizarre. The kid survives Snyder's dumpster fire in DC and then gets hit with the garbage truck....?

There definitely is no god.

Apparently he was crossing the freeway to get gas...he could have had roadside assistance bring him gas for $50-$100. smh.
