Off Rehab Assignment

How do I edit a player get Michael Pineda off of a "rehab assignment" - don't want him on the active roster and don't want to send him through waivers.

Edit their team to one of your minor league teams

You may need to put them on the active roster first to "clear" the rehab assignment. Or maybe there's something in the editor to do it

2nd question - how do I get a guy off the 40-man roster? Easy one...I hope.

I don't want the player to have to pass through waivers, though.

Release them
Use the editor to edit them back onto your team

Best bet would be to disable/change all the roster rules that get in the way. I don’t have the game open right now but I think it’s the middle gear icon then rules tab.
