AL East , what was I thinking?

I should have started with a different team. Still no playoff experience.

The Blue Jays' petition to move to the AL Central (bringing Baltimore along for the ride) was denied. Again. This has to level out soon, right? Last year I lost game 163 vs Tampa with 94 wins. This year I can't even catch them (thank you 7 games under .500 June...)

(temporary edit - my screenshot didn't work)

Ugh. Mods feel free to delete (please). Am having screen capture issues here. Until deleted, my angst is: yet again the AL East has generated the best team in the AL (Jacksonville at .643 101 wins with 5 games to go) and the 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 6th best teams in the AL (Houston snuck in there for 3rd.) We are 5th best and barring an epic collapse by Tampa I can't get them. It will be Tampa vs NYY for the wildcard and me and my 89 wins and counting will go sit in the truck. Again.

At least we are 3 games ahead of Boston. And we aren't Baltimore.

Could be he is in an online league. Usually changing/adjusting the league structure requires votes from the GMs. So the vote probably didn't go his way so no move.

those teams will not remain good forever, no. the strongest correlation to success will be their market sizes.

with a big budget, they can be consistently better than other teams, for sure. that's a stacked division as far as budgets go. fwiw, the unbalanced schedule isn't so large that you can't make up for it by beating up other teams in the AL.

in general, if one division is realyl strong, there's likely a weak one out there somewhere... hopefully not in the NL,

what's guaranteed every years is the the league has a .500 average LoL
