Designated for Assignment?

I received a message that 2 of my players on DFA had zero days left. I then went to the transaction section and ask the "AI to set up entire team", and these two players were given another 5 days on the DFA. Note that I use a fictional league with a 5-day DFA period.

I thought after the DFA period passes, the player has to be released, waived, traded, or put back on the roster. Can he be put back on DFA? Am I missing something?

Is that normal or correct, or is it a bug?

I am betting they were put on the 25 man and then put back on DFA. It should not work but I bet it does.

I second this. A paper move.

they can go on a MiL roster too. is it a different dfa length for minor leaguers? or is your DFA length normally 5 days? (10 is default; why i ask)

go to your transaction log, you can trace what happened. if somethign seems odd, double check relative settings. probably assigned and dfa'd in 2 steps, but on the same day.
