BSL looking for someone to take over the Wild Card leader
BSL is a fun, active league and we just simmed the All Star game and its festivities we have with it, including a HR Derby. The Texas Rangers.
The New York Mets and Minnesota Twins are now available. Please, do not ask to join if you will not be active. We keep having people join who do not be active at all, and we move quickly to replace them. If you are not interested in Texas, please contact us to be put on our waiting list, a few other teams are marked for replacements soon. OOTP 6.5a is used (upgrading to b when it's no longer beta) and 6.12 is of course, compatible. Hey guys-
We now have two teams open, with a few other potentials. The open teams are the Washington Nationals and Houston Astros. The Washington Nationals (http://mostvaluablenetwork.com/OOTP/OOTP/team17.html) in 2005 went 66-96, then followed that up with an 81-81 campaign and currently in August 2007 are at 61-62, but Pythagorean has them at 65-58. They have some nice prospects and a well-rounded team in the majors. Definitely an up and coming team. The Houston Astros (http://mostvaluablenetwork.com/OOTP/OOTP/team22.html) are a different story. In 2005, they shocked the world by finishing 68-95, and then made a controversial trade, trading away Roy Oswalt and Brad Lidge for a package that included Jim Thome. Thome has fallen apart this year, although he did serve them well last year and the former owner's inactiveness has led to players he has acquired be released because time on DFA expired. In 2006, they finished 68-94 and the fan base is growing upset. They're at 50-73 and are looking for someone to restore them to respectability. Their minor league system is average, and their achilles heel is the pitching. Get some solid pitching and they can compete in the parity-ridden Central. Please, do not ask to join if you will not be active. OOTP 6.5a is used (upgrading to b when it's no longer beta) and 6.12 is of course, compatible. If you are interested in joining, but not interested in these two teams, let me know what teams you have interest in. Thanks. |

Both teams gone. Seattle may be opening up in a day or so, and so might another team. Hit me up if you're interested.

Seattle gone. Last team up for grabs, and housecleaning is finished. I am very happy with the three new people. This is shaping up to be one hell of an active league.
New York Mets (http://mostvaluablenetwork.com/OOTP/OOTP/team18.html) checking in for availability. AIM EvanAtMVN, OOTP 6.5/6.12 required, please be active. |
