Maybe even McCline, Bowe Holyfield and Bryd, too. We need some fresh blood and exciting fighters.

Man Golota looked like a marble statue in there he was so dry. I had a bad feeling. How could his trainer let him leave the dressing room like that?

Borrowed from a friend who emailed me shortly after the fight:

Golota makes the rest of us Polish-Americans look like Albert Einstein. Hopefully I will never have to look again at that utterly brainless expression on his face as he is going to the canvas for yet another time......

No doubt about it!

If you saw weigh-in pics, and saw Golotas face as they weighed him, it tells the whole story. Sorry I dont have a link, but you can find em im sure

Golata may be mercifully done. I remember Pinklon Thomas looking like that going into one of his end-of-the-road bouts (I've forgotten who he fought - may have been the Duke) - It's a sure sign that the guy just doesn't care anymore and the end is in sight.

What the hell happened to Golota? I've seen the 'fight' and was amazed at how easily Brewster walked through him. He's finished for sure now, it doesn't take a genius to work that out.

Credit to Brewster though. He knew against Wladimir Klitschko that if he let Wladimir punch himself out for a few rounds then he could capitalise when Klitschko's stamina problem came into play in the middle rounds. But with Golota, Brewster knew that with Golota's experience it could go the whole 12 rounds so he had to start early and get straight into Golota. He did well but it goes without saying I expected more from Golota.

Brewster obviously saw the tapes of the Lewis fight and decided to throw everything he had into an all-out assault. First big hook that landed had the big Pole on queer street. Neither Byrd or Ruiz had the power to do what Brewster did. Wonder if he will try the same tactic on his next opponent. The TV moguls will love him.

I noticed the very same thing. Also, he didn't look as fit as he did for the Byrd and Ruiz fights. The 248 lbs. that he carried into the ring was about 10 too many, in my opinion.
