How do I make it fit my screen?

When I try to play, the top and bottom borders of the game screen extend beyond the top and bottom edges of the desktop. I cannot find any adjustments to fix this in the game. If it is in the lower right corner I can not get there to fix it. Any ideas? I've tried changing resolution and got nuthin'. I am running an NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 420 Ver. 6.14, Standard 2 to 3 year old Dell CRT monitor, Windows XP with service pack 2 and all other available updates. 256 MB ram and over 100 gig of open hard drive space on two seperate hard drives.

The game only runs at 1024x768 resolution. You have to adjust Windows to accomodate, unfortunately.

Now it works fine at 1024x768 and blurry at 800x600. It wouldn't work on either an hour ago. I haven't done anything to my settings or even restarted my machine. I don't get it. Well after owning it for 24 hours I'll finally get to give it a try.
