Deleting Teams

If I wanted to import my solo franchise from OOTP 6.5 to OOTPBB 2007 and then wanted to delete a few teams.....could I do this without the players being dumped into the free agent pool? Is there a way to import only a select group of teams? Ive got a league with 30 teams and I want to get it down to 20 or so.

Maybe you should do it the other way around. First delete the teams you don't want, while still in 6.5. Their players get dumped into the FA pool of your 6.5 league. Then delete all free agents there. THEN import to the new version.

Seriously, thanks. I hadnt thought of that. Even if the game allows you to delete teams without having the players dumped to the free agent pool I just might do it this way. That way it looks more like these teams left the previous league to start something new and not just being kicked out. If even that would be reflected in the history.
