My database got corrupt!
Damn i worked hard on that. All the fighters in my data base are screwed up. All their names are weird like "ef000dew000fw2132432453rf00sfsfsd"?Is there anyway I can fix that problem? I need a good database with accurate rankings Last edited by Big-G; 05-05-2005 at 09:44 AM. |

What do you mean by 'accurate rankings'? I have a current database which has all the heavyweight's real life fight records as of mid-2004 (which took ages to do), but obviously having done some fights myself there are some fighters who have slightly different records, e.g. Audley Harrison lost to Vitali Klitschko so is no longer unbeaten. But if anyone wants it they can obviously do what they want with records etc, but the rankings are very good and I've constantly tinkered with ratings to match real life. But as I say it's only for the Heavyweight division at the moment, all the others have had no fights.
If anyone wants it give me a bell. |

This is why I retired the game a long time ago.

It's why I take backups of my database every week or so.

The moral of the story as has been said is to back up often. I just use a CD and overwrite the file every other time that I use the data base. Christopher

Go here: http://www.angelfire.com/games4/cube...downloads.html
Cube has a few databases you can choose from. They are explained in detail on that page as well. I believe that CubesDBv1.3.1.exe is the original database that came with the game, but it has updated bio's, spelling corrections and a few fighters have a retired version (Lennox Lewis and a couple others). Thats the one I have always used for my universe... its great. Cube does great work. As far as accurate "rankings".... I am assuming that is a typo and you meant "ratings"?
