eMLB enters 2nd decade looking for new blood
Hey everyone,
There are three teams open right now in Electronic Major League Baseball. The league has been running since July of 2000, and just finished its 10th season. Our website is http://www.emlb-baseball.com - We use a salary cap of $75 million, and I have an incentive program for team or league articles. - We still have many of today's stars, but we're in the 2010 season, so there are some fictional players now. I have been adding newer real baseball talents every amateur draft season to keep the league full of modern players. - There are many other features we do, such as live sims, Games of the Week, but I won't bore the casual reader with this. These are things you'll probably ask about if you're interested. Here are the teams: Tampa Bay: Was a playoff team the first 5 seasons, but has had some weaker management in recent past. Now has some good young players, and will have 2 of the Top 5 Amateur Draft Picks this offseason. Good chance for anyone to build right away. They're also in a good salary cap situation, too. Arizona: Another team that's young and in great cap shape. The team's owner was the original owner, had to go on hiatus, and recently informed us he won't be able to return right now. Three solid starters in the rotation, and a top Closer who had some injuries this season. St. Louis: Little bit more of a project. They need pitching help the most, as well as a couple of homerun hitters. This team is better than it looks, but that's because the last owner fell off the face of the earth after being given one of my famous second chances to redeem themselves and continue to be disappointed. It could be also that all NL Central teams just seem to struggle to play .500 ball the last few seasons. You might call it a weak division, but the NL Central owners committed there say it's a tough one. We are looking for mature owners, as the league is mostly made up of mid-20s and thirty-somethings (Yes, we do have people even 15 yrs old, but they carry themselves well). We still have 11 of our original owners from 5 years ago, so we enjoy playing together and are a good group that work together. If you're interested, please contact me at jleblond@maine.rr.com, or you can reach me by AOL Instant Messenger as Naydok. Thanks, and look forward to hearing from you.

We've had two inquiries, but none have committed to a team yet. Tampa Bay, Arizona & St. Louis still remain available. See original post for details, or e-mail me for more info. Thanks.

Another bump. Arizona & St. Louis still available. Once these teams are filled, we're going into the offseason.
Definitely tough competition with all these great leagues looking for ownership talent!

St. Louis is now taken, although making sure the new owner is comfortable and ready.
Only Arizona remains. This is a team with one of the better potential rotations in their Top 3 starters! Low payroll, plenty of cap room!!! Who wants a team capable of getting into the postseason?

Hello again,
While I have all three listed positions filled, a personal friend of mine had to step down as owner of Detroit, making them available. The Tigers are a career .500 team, having last made the playoffs by winning the AL Central Title two seasons ago in 2008. They don't have a lot of room to sign players this offseason ($10.4 million in cash, $13.1 million in cap space), but an owner could come in and make some quick changes to develop this team more to their style. Contact information is listed above. Best to try me on AOL IM right now. Would love to fill this team up immediately, as we will be going forward with Coach Signings today. Any questions, let me know. Thanks!
