Thinking about making a *** facepack. Wondering if the community is interested?

Well, I am currently thinking about slapping together a 20005 *** (Nippon Professional Baseall) facepack and I am wondering about the level of interest in the OOTP community.

The player photos will be taken directly from teams' website (mugshots) and named with fielding position and jersey numbers. The set may or may not contain player names - depends on if the official english name is provided on the site. Well, I am thinking that even if there is no *** roster to go with it you can probably still use it as a fictional face pack (just randomly re-name the files in numbers).

Interested? I will only make it if there are demands/interests.

p.s. I was just looking at some photos and their quality vary a lot from team to team. Some are not so great, though still usable.

Hmm... It seems a couple (yes, just a couple

) of people are intereted in this. Well, I will work on this as a low-priority project then. So this project is going to take some time to finish. Oh, I just encountered yet another obstacle. Orix Buffaloes does not really have posed player photos, but they have action shots instead. This is both a curse and a blessing. Man, when finished, the guality/content of this facepack is going to be so inconsistent.

On the side note, I have complied a 2005 *** logo pack and it should be ready for release shortly. Also, the image quality of the logo is not as great as I would've liked. This is due to the fact that I only have small-sized source photos (~70X70) to work with. In order to make them consistent with OOTP logo size, I needed to enlarge them and this leads to sub-optimal image quality. The attached is one of the logo: Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters.

p.s. It's just 'Fighters' and the company name is 'Nippon-Ham'. The team is not called 'Ham Fighters'!!

Well, if it has been done, then is no point for me to 're-do' the works. I hereby declare "project is postponed indefinitely!" and probably will be followed by "projection cancellation!" annoucement in the future.

Thanks forh the offer, LGO. Though I don't have use for them now, it is much appreciated. Well, if only I have the proper resource (detailed player stats for both major and minor level) and time, I would love to do a *** roster set.
