Anyone else finding it hard to play OOTP6?
Last year, I was absolutely in love with this game, playing it almost daily. Now that I have the seed that is OOTP7:FE in my head. I am finding it hard to get into OOTP6. For some reason, I find myself putting off starting a new league in OOTP6 and just start perusing the screenies from the SI website over and over again. I can't wait!
Of course, I've also been playing FM2005 and that game has easily taken up a lot of my playing time also. Get here soon OOTP7! |

OOTP7 does look awesome. Maybe try the MLB all in one installer and play out until version 7 arrives.

I'm still addicted and have to play at least 1 or 2 games a day even if I'm extremely busy with other things to do. I just hope the leagues are able to be pulled into V7 instead of starting over.

I find it hard to come up with time to play OOTP6. If I could, I'd play it all the time.

I've looked and looked, but I can't seem to find screenshots of OOTP7.
Can anyone help a newb with a link? |

I have no problem playing 6. I might just be at my peak interest with 2 online leagues and my solo-managing sim going all at once.

I find it hard to play OOTP6, but that is because I still use OOTP5.

If I go more than one day without playing OOTP6, I get depressed or mad, especially when something else gets in the way. I'm sure OOTP7 will be great when it finally arrives, but for now I'm supremely happy with OOTP6. |

I have some reservations regarding 7 so I have no problem continuing to play 6.

OOTP6 is the only game in town for me.
I still love it. I would still play it, even V7 never comes out. It is a great game even with its flaws...and I think V7 has the chance to be even better...especially if I can have complete minor leagues where I can play out the games and promote and demote players between leagues. However, I think you will get burned out if OOTPB replaces real life activities. You need to make sure you don't become obscessed with the game...never let it interfere with family and friends. So now, I just play it "semi-obscessively". My wife comes first...with OOTP6 a distant second...at least that's what I tell her. Last edited by Eugene Church; 04-12-2005 at 02:57 PM. |

i use v6 in online leagues. i'm excited about v7 because with so many more options, as far as league setup, i'll probably be able to use my imigination to create a baseball universe. (i'm already thinking of ideas.) And maybe i'll start up a solo league again. i haven't really tried a solo league since v5.

I haven't played OOTP in over two weeks, around the time that I finally got Rome: Total War. Every minute that I've spent on playing computer games since getting it has gone into that game. I'll probably return to OOTP soon, but right now I'm a little on baseball overload.
I thought that OOTP7 not coming out until November or whenever would decrease the chances of me purchasing it; however, the more that I think about it, that's probably a good time to release it. We'll all have had Madden for about two months and just starting to suffer from baseball withdrawl. Coinciding it with the start of the Hot Stove league is actually pretty smart. That said, I'm not going to buy it unless it delivers all the features that it promises, for obvious reasons. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, etc. |

No.
I've yet to be able to sign up for the SI forums...so I don't check out the progress of V7 except what gets posted here. I always look forward to a new version....but with it still being months aways....I still have no problem playing V6. |
