Halofan roster set is updated
set as of 2/16/05 @ 11:20pm CST has been uploaded.....got get it for all that like it
![]() This set has about 95% of ALL STATS! I mean ALL of them. Their career minor league stats, career playoff stats, career independent league stats, career japanese league stats, career Holland or Greece league stats......all of them are updated, well 95% of the players. The rest will be done by the next update. I have also adjusted some players general info that was pointed out by some users and that i made errors on. The salaries are correct as well. Some minor league players or prospects may not be, but i am still receiving this info so it will change some more by the next update. Thanks to everyone, including the ones that hate the set, as this has reached a level of popularity i never expected.

[first post in a long long time]
w00t! [/first post in a long long time] Edit - Wow, it has been a while. The GGOOTP is now the 4OTP and is in 2013 and is on it's third website (whereas my sig listed it's original site and it's last season as 2010). ![]() 2nd Edit - Alright, I'm blind. I can't find the roster. Can I get a direct link by any chance? Last edited by Kelric; 02-17-2005 at 12:53 AM. |

First, this question should not be taken as a complaint. I've heard there is a lot of problems importing leagues with weird ratings. Anyway, should most hitters on the 25 major league roster on this (halofan's) roster set have ratings above 60 in avg., and the pitchers mostly have ratings above 60 as well? It seems like most of the ratings are very high for everybody. Just wanted to make sure the ratings are appearing correctly in my league.

What Doug said.
I actually went through similar with my newly released Franchise Stars rosters. The last version had ratings that looked low, but worked with the league totals so the results (which is really all that matters) were fine. My new version fixed this, though it's really just cosmetic. Sim a year (actually do it a few times to allow for fluctuations). If you see anybody who regularly posts stats too good or not good enough, adjust as needed. GH |

Halofan
Awesome Job the readme that comes with this latest roster has old infomation still it in. ![]() Eric Karros is still on oakland Roster. He retire from MLB. For any newbies getting his roster for the first time, be sure to goto league setup and set it the way you want. For Example it set to all human team, computer is disabled, waiver rule and rule v is disabled, 40 man roster disabled, player AI evaluation, player development, etc by default so goto league setup and have the league set the way you want before you play. |

GForce-well said!
JB-damn, i new i forgot something lol rdklein & Kelric-thanks for the enjoyment, it helps ![]() toad freak-GForce and Doug Wyatt pretty much said the same thing i would have, but when it comes to the ratings, like i said, when you input the stats, this is the ratings the game gives, i feel that in some cases ratings in the 60's is a little high, but its the stats that do it ![]() i can be reached on AOL (halofan26) or on email if anyone cares to RATIONALLY discuss the set or anything else. Notice i said rationally lol......dont jump online and tell me the set sucks cause nasty oppinions are like buttholes, everyone has one and they all stink

Hey, I can't find the new update. I went to www.simleaguecentral.com and there are like 4 versions of your rosters there. Which one do I pick? I downloaded the first one, and looked at Johan Santana and you didn't change his salary amount because he signed that extention for 4 years. Anyways, I would like to know which one to download. If you could give me the roster file that would be great. Thanks!!!

Am I missing something? This league has updated stats and results (ie Boston wins world series), yet the league schedule is the beginning of 2004. What is the point if you have to replay 2004 all over again?

I was wondering this too, but having been in leagues that Halofan has run and knowing that he is a standup guy (he did after all take the time to put this together) I wonder if there is just a way to import the 2005 schedule. I might create a new schedule to make it different from 2004, but I certainly see the point!

im not exactly sure where you are seeing the 2004 schedule because im looking at it and it starts on March 30th, 2005.....now its not the official schedule because i havent had time to do that yet, but feel free to do that part yourself, or you will just have to wait till i do the official one
IF YOU ARE STILL HAVING PROBLEMS WITH FINDING THE SET, IT IS THE SET THAT SAYS "CURRENTLY IN THE OFFSEASON"........the date in the description also describes the current set On a side note, i dont know for sure if there is a 2005 schedule out for download

Halofan nice set.
Just a couple questions why are delgado SOSA and some other new Fa's in AAA. Does that mean you didnt set lineups or rotations either. I need you expertise for this I follow the Marlins but after that I am helpless with getting a lineup and rotation set. Plus if Sosa and Delgado are in AAA how many other FA's am I leaving in AAA by accident. I am not upset, should I just wait till the next update to start a franchise if I want rotations and lineups correct? MAtt |

you have to do that yourself for your team. and if Halofan does that, the cpu will change it to the way it wants. Halofan i recommend you put all players in the minors for all teams, so we can decide who we want to put on the 25 and 40 man roster and in AAA, AA, AA. thanks |

All you have to do it go to league setup them do "run CPU on all teams" and the CPU will automatically put the people they think are good on the 25-man roster and you can work from there.

sorry guys, i do NO player movements. There is too many people that say so many different things as to who deserves a 25-man spot. You guys can tinker with that
btw, i dont hate Santana, i just have an awful short term memory
