Here's how I have my solo league set up:

Salary Cap: None
Team Cash Max: $10 million
National TV Contract Min: $5 million
Only use Nat'l TV Min: No
Min. Player Salary: $300,000

Standard Roster Limit: 25
40-Man Roster: Enabled
Waivers: Enabled, 3 days
Designated For Assignment: 10 days
Minor League Options: Enabled
Rule 5 Draft: Enabled
Salary Arbitration: Enabled
Minimum days for 1 service year: 172 days
Minor League Free Agents: Enabled

And that does it close enough for me.

All the above except the team cash maximun. There's no such thing in MLB (except poor Bud Selig) so it should be $999,999,999 or something like that.

That sounds fine on paper, but it causes problems. With no cash maximum, teams will go on huge bidding wars for stars and end up signing players for over 40 million sometimes.

The league minimum salary is actually $316,000 this season (2005), not $300,000 like it was in '04.
