Worst blowout I've ever seen

... is in progress right now. The Yankees have scored 10 runs in their first four innings, and would likely have around fifteen were it not for the presence of two of the worst offensive players in the major leagues (Tony Womack and John Flaherty) in their lineup. Those two players have accounted for 8 of the Yankees' first 13 outs, if you consider the GIDP. Meanwhile, Randy Johnson's struck out 5 and has only allowed 2 infield singles. The Orioles rolled right over in this one.

Where's Womack playing in the field today? Or is he a DH?

He's in CF, which seems to be his regular position now.

That's just awful. I have often wished for bad things to happen to the Yankees, but this is just insanely cruel.

O's attempt to salvage a little dignity as Chris Gomez hits a 2-run homerun in the 6th to make it 10-2. My prediction: final score will be 12-7, and people coming home after work to check the score will think it was a relatively close game.

You can blame Randy Johnson for Flaherty being in the lineup today.

Oh, I do. But not as much as I blame Brian Cashman for resigning him, or Joe Torre for continuing to put Tony Womack on the field.

Well, so far, you got the 12 right

Now, if anyone saw this line in OOTP's play by play, they'd be screaming at Markus ...

Offensive Substitution: Pinch runner Tino Martinez replaces Jason Giambi.

You must be relatively new to baseball if this is the biggest blowout you've ever seen.

Have you been watching? I'm not talking about what the final score will be; I'm really pointing more towards when one team decided the game was over and gave up. The Orioles decided there was no point in putting more effort into it in the third inning.

No. But the score stands at 12-2, which is a 10 run deficit. Hardly the biggest blowout I've ever seen, personally.
