What a week

I started a solo fictional league and just had a player win a player of the week award. He batted .810 with 5hr 14rbi what is the best week you have seen from a player.

In my current league, my SS hit .517 with 6 HR and 11 RBI. That's the best I could find.

Funny that you make this thread today. My Cy Young-winning SP, in his last four starts, has these stats:

31.2 IP, 4-0, 0.00 ERA, 24K, 1BB

He's the same guy I talk about in post #6 of this thread:

http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...ad.php?t=95306

Here is a link to his player card, although when I copy and paste his HTML file out of the league_news_box directory, it doesn't keep its nice pretty format.

dola,

He's 17-3 this year in 24 starts. Looks to be his best year yet! He still has some room to develop (99 control rating is 25 points below talent!), but I'm not sure if he ever will since I have to put 7-8 points into endurance each spring training.

This just in:

Landaverde's Hershiser-esque streak ends, and Colorado hands him his 4th loss on the season with 6 runs off of 7 hits, a home run, and 2 walks.

Even though its a fictional league, was the game in Colorado's homerun friendly atmosphere?

Monday 6/28/1956: Rochester's Walborn wins Player of the Week award
It's the 7th time that the American League Player of the Week award goes to Rochester's leftfielder Eugene Walborn. Walborn helped his team with an average of .680 and 9 RBI in 25 at bats.

Nope, it was in Atlanta. Although, following the 2008 (?) season, Turner field underwent a bit of remodeling that moved the fences in, making it very hitter-friendly. Landaverde's numbers on the road each year are around 1.5 ERA, while home numbers are more like 2.5+.
