Game Keeps Locking Up!!

I am a fairly new user to OOTPB and to this point have loved the game. However, I have suddenly run into a problem that I can't seem to solve. I'm about 50 games into my 3rd season and I suddenly can't simulate or play games. Everytime I try to do either the game locks up and I have to do a ctl-alt-del to bring up the task manager to close the game. The task manager shows the game is not responding. I've turned off sound (which I generally didn't use anyway), I've backed up my league file and then reinstalled the game (6.11), I've doulbe checked that team depth charts are filled out correctly, and still have the same problems. Anybody experienced this problem and how can I solve it?

More than likely one of the following is the problem:

-The same position is listed twice in the lineup.
-The same player is listed twice in the lineup.
-One position is missing.
-An "injured" pitcher is scheduled to start a game.

Thanks so much for the help Steve - I did have the same player in the lineup twice and that was the problem.
