Some of the graphics are a little different (i.e. the standings screen looks more polished) The biggest thing is that you get logos all over the place. In your schedule screen each day is like a transparency and your opponents logo appears underneath. In the Roster and lineup screens you will see logos in various white sections of the screen in the same transparency style. It's pretty cool, but purely cosmetic. Doesn't change how the game plays at all.

Did I miss anything fellow 3d users?

What do you guys mean by overlapping? Does it happen all the time? All I've noticed is that, very ocassionally, the Pbp will run over the top of the player cards. In other words, the cards don't disappear before the Pbp starts. But this only happens maybe once a game on average, and it seems to be raelated to foul ball calls and when it starts/stops raining.

Edit- I'm using a Voodoo 3 AGP.

I have a Voodoo5 5500, running WinME. I have 3D enabled; however, I have my desktop set to Hi-Color 16bit. I tried setting my desktop to TruColor 32bit, but the transparency in the game made reading the text nearly impossible... for me. If I set the desktop to 32bit, and disable 3D, then I lose the logos.

Using a voodoo 5 AGP in 16 color mode the game ran real smooth and looked nice. I had no problems.

I run a Voodoo 5 5500, and I have no problems.

I'm not running at full-screen mode, and I run in 3d. I had problems at first, and, to be honest with you, I have absolutely no idea what I did to correct them. I believe it had to do with my 3dfx settings, changing it to Direct3D or something (or maybe Glide).

I don't want to go back and look, for fear that I'll inadvertanly screw up the game. ; )

Peace
John
